Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice and support on recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and more
- Assist in interpreting and applying Award/Enterprise Agreement policies
- Support senior management with HR-related issues and ensure compliance with legislation
- Manage and resolve grievances and disputes in a timely and fair manner
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with employees and management
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant work-related experience in a generalist HR role
- Experience in providing HR advice and support, including Award/Enterprise Agreement interpretation
- Strong knowledge of HR theory and policies, with the ability to communicate these to managers and staff
- In-depth understanding of Federal, Territory, and local legislation relevant to HR matters
- Strong relationship-building and management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively, particularly during periods of change
- Proactive team player with a passion for creating positive workplace cultures
- Current NT C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Working with Children’s Card
- National Police Check
- Monday to Friday work hours
